Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 2026
At Omenlge, accessible from omengle.fun, the privacy of our visitors is one of our main priorities. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Omenlge and how we use it.
1. Anonymous Chat Protection
Omenlge is designed to be a completely anonymous platform. Unlike traditional social media networks, we do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal details (such as email address or phone number) to connect with a stranger. The nickname and age details you enter at the start are processed purely to assist with user matching constraints.
2. Zero-Logs Infrastructure
We believe in absolute communication freedom and privacy. We do not store, record, or log any text messages, video frames, or audio streams from your chat sessions. Once a connection between two strangers is closed, all signaling buffers are instantly cleared from our server memory.
3. WebRTC Peer-to-Peer Data Channels
To deliver high performance and maximum privacy, Omenlge relies on peer-to-peer WebRTC technology. This means your text messages and voice streams travel directly from your device to the matched stranger's device without passing through or being stored on our servers. A third-party signaling system is used only temporarily to introduce the two devices.
4. IP Addresses & Moderation Controls
To combat bot networks, spam abuse, and illegal actions, we temporarily process IP addresses. Our security system uses IP data to restrict access to banned users. Banned IPs are stored securely inside our administrative moderation lists to preserve community safety.
5. Cookies & Session Storage
We use standard HTML5 local session storage (`sessionStorage`) to store your current matching session token, ensuring you remain connected to your chat partner even if you accidentally reload the page. These session cookies expire automatically once you close the browser tab.
